Berryessa Gap Vineyards
The Martinez family has deep ties to the lands of Berryessa Gap and surrounding county, where first-generation farmer of immigrant parents Dan Martinez, Sr., originally cultivated fruit trees more than 50 years ago. Today, rows of grapes grow on the hills that overlook the gap, thriving under the warm sun. Crushed, strained, and processed at the winery, the grapes transform into an impressive variety of vintages, from a rose and zinfandel to syrah and verdelho. Two tasting rooms provide visitors with the opportunity to sip the fruits of the family's labor while relaxing at the chic bar or standing in the middle of the room if you hate relaxing.
