About Cafe Au Parc
Over a couple Bloody Marys during a Sunday brunch, Kevin Gawlinski and Nathalie Baranyk decided to dive into the restaurant business. Just a few months later, they opened the doors to Cafe Au Parc in Orland Park's Ninety 7 Fifty apartment complex. Their goal was simple: create a cafe experience that you'd normally expect to find downtown, but in the suburbs.
All the wines, coffees, meats, and cheeses served at Cafe Au Parc are imported; most come from Italy, but several hail from other European cultural centers like France and Spain. Fittingly, Nathalie worked in Italy for nearly a decade and her familiarity with the country's delicacies shines through the cafe's charcuterie plates and cheese platters. The rest of the menu features fresh-baked croissants and muffins for breakfast, panini and hand-tossed salads for lunch; and 10" pizzas for dinner. For drinks, the cafe serves Italy's Lavazza coffee, local craft beers, and an ever-growing variety of wines.
