What You'll Get

Faces, like potatoes, must be scrubbed and buffed to clear away excess dirt, remove dry skin, and prevent the emergence of extra eyes. Buff away unsightly blemishes with today's Groupon at Feel and Live Better Medical Spa. Choose from the following options:

  • For $99, you get a HydraFacial and a customized chemical peel (a $275 value).
  • For $189, you get two HydraFacials and two customized chemical peels (a $550 value).
  • For $279, you get three HydraFacials and three customized chemical peels (an $825 value).

Each option also includes a complimentary makeup application during your first visit of Youngblood, a full line of medical mineral makeup.

Feel and Live Better Medical Spa’s experienced aestheticians perform revitalizing facial treatments under the close supervision of the spa's medical director, Dr. Iman Al-Haj. Named LNE & Spa's Best Equipment of 2011, the HydraFacial exfoliates façades with a multi-edged spiral tip and hydrates skin with antioxidant serums, resulting in dewy, radiant skin in as little as 15 minutes, the same amount of time it takes to watch half a sitcom or cover a whole TV in splattered tomatoes. The procedure also incorporates red-light therapy to stimulate collagen production and blue-LED-light therapy to destroy acne-causing bacteria.

A medical-grade chemical peel smoothes the epidermis texture of visages, controls acne, and corrects uneven pigmentation by chemically removing superficial skin layers damaged by sun exposure or photographer bullying. Aestheticians customize each peel to clients' skin concerns, using glycolic acid to treat age spots and reduce fine lines, salicylic acid to combat acne, and a double whammy of beta hydroxy and alpha hydroxy acids to restore faces coated in silly string. The total duration of both procedures is approximately one hour.

About Feel & Live Better Medical Spa

Dr. Iman Al-Haj, owner and medical director of Feel & Live Better Medical Spa, followed a fascination with the human body across the Atlantic Ocean—she obtained her board certification in general surgery in the United Kingdom, then headed to the US to hone her skills in Houston. Now Dr. Al-Haj, along with a team of nutritionists and aestheticians, puts her knowledge to use by renovating façades with cosmetic procedures and improving health with nutritional wellness services. Along with hydrating facials and vitamin-infused masks, the team amps up looks with dermal fillers, hair transplants, and laser therapies. One such therapy is Cynosure SmartSkin technology, which is designed to blast away sun damage, smooth wrinkles, and eternally banish acne scars to high-school-yearbook photos. The staff helps maintain clients' youthful complexions with Youngblood mineral makeup, Rhonda Allison products, and the spa's own skincare line. The spa also offers minimally-invasive body contouring with Tickel liposuction, laser skin-tightening with Lipotherm procedures, and fat-grafting for the face, buttocks, and hands.
