What You'll Get
The thrill of seeing one’s favorite musicians in concert often alleviates the stress of modern life and the sweaty delirium from contracting Beatlemania. Enjoy an aural antidote with today’s deal for tickets to the 75th anniversary Sunset Soiree benefit at Levitt Shell in Overton Park on Saturday, October 15, at 8 p.m. Children 12 and younger are admitted for free. Choose from the following options:
- For $35, you get two Sustainer tickets (a $70 value).
- For $60, you get four Sustainer tickets (a $140 value).
- For $75, you get six Sustainer tickets (a $210 value).
Levitt Shell, a performing-arts hub in historic Overton Park, celebrates 75 years of hosting memorable music performances with its Sunset Soiree. A large lineup of more than 15 musical acts showcases a wide range of sonic genres, and includes folk singer Sid Selvidge and Kelley Hurt, a jazz vocalist known for lending her sultry pipes to “Coulda Woulda Shoulda” by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins and several GPS receivers. Attendees open their ears for soothing serenades while lounging on the open lawn, and, like 4th of July picnics and Bruce Willis movies, the evening ends with a fireworks display. All proceeds from the event benefit Levitt Shell.
