- $35 for a concealed-carry class for one ($75 value)
The instructors at Second Amendment Firearms Training Academy—or S.A.F.T. Academy for short—like to get to know their students. They keep their class sizes small, ensuring a low instructor-to-student ratio and allowing for ample one-on-one instruction. But that's just one of the ways they train safe and responsible gun owners.
S.A.F.T. sticks to the following training mantra: "knowledge, skills, attitude." In other words, students must learn how a handgun works before they attempt to fire—and always display the proper respect for firearms. By following these three tenets, students and instructors aim to enjoy their rights safely and responsibly.
Courses at S.A.F.T. Academy meet varying skill levels and goals, with programs from NRA Basic Pistol (ideal for complete beginners) up to advanced pistol, which focuses on nuanced skills such as firing from the draw. Instructors also teach a hunter's safety course, help students meet the requirements for concealed-carry permits, and work with students one-on-one during private lessons.
