Ants in room. We have been staying at the Comfort Suites Appleton Airport for the past few years for our annual shopping trip to Appleton. Usually, I am usually very happy with it, the beds are very comfy, the front desk is very friendly and it is in a great location. The hotel is in need of updating. It is showing wear and tear. This year, we stayed November 15 - 17, and I was so disgusted finding hundreds of ants on the floor the morning. I went to the front desk and was told "every hotel has an ant problem, we will let housekeeping know". It was gross, I could not eat breakfast that morning thinking that if they have ants in the rooms, what does the breakfast area look like? After I left my review on the Comfprt Suites websites, the manager emailed me and said he was sorry, that they have an exterminator come in once a month, and that this is the time of year that th ants come in looking for warmer quarters for the winter. Sorry, but not at hotels I want to stay at, and I will be looking for another hotel to stay at for the next trip to Appleton.

Dated and in need of a renovation This is a perfectly acceptable place to stay for a few days, but the decor is very dated and the whole place needs a renovation. The location is good with some restaurants in walking distance. The overall cleanliness is good. There is a breakfast buffet I didn’t have a chance to check out. Average.

Nice People; Clean and Comfortable; Good Breakfast After taking a "red-eye" flight back from Las Vegas, we were very tired and needed an early check-in. These nice people accommodated us, checked us in about 12:30pm, and we got into our room and found one of the most comfortable beds imaginable. Lovely. The next morning, they hotel offered an included breakfast that was fairly complete and well done. The food was good! All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. As an aside, the area around the hotel has a lot of really good restaurants to enjoy, as well, with a broad variety of ethnic and American styles.

Decent and clean hotel with well-sized rooms. We stayed for one night. Hotel is close to highway. It is a pretty large place. Big pool and hot tub. Our room was pretty nice with a sitting area with couch and large bed. The bed was very comfortable. AC did not work very well. Room seemed to feel warm despite AC being set to 65. Breakfast was quite basic.

Excellent Customer Service Had the pleasure of staying here for three weeks, The staff were super, and a credit to this establishment. Complimentary cocktails were just one of the perks, the woman who takes care of breakfast every morning was pleasant, and seemed to enjoy adding a little extra love to her breakfast making it her own. Ashley, Allyssa and Mary were a few of the names I remember, as they all went out of their way to help make my stay as comfortable as possible. I Would recommend a stay here, and take the time to meet the staff, Super helpful and friendly.
