Friendly, attentive staff and comfortable rooms. We stayed this weekend in one of the whirlpool suites. Check in was quick and easy. First impression of the suite is that it was spacious. The room had a king bed, a couch and arm chair, a fridge with freezer, a microwave and a generous sized whirlpool tub. It was a 90 degree day when we arrived and appreciated that the A/C was set at 69 so it was perfectly cool in the room. We would’ve preferred brighter lighting-or more lights. The bathroom had a bright heater light in it which was nice. The room showed signs of wear, but we were overall very pleased. The only complaint was that there was a large group of families with young boys staying there and the boys ran up and down the hallway in groups, yelling, until 11:00 Friday night so it was very noisy and sleep didn’t come for us until the boys finished. Not the hotel’s fault. The staff were some of the most friendly and accomodating hotel staff that We’ve experienced in years. They were attentive with our needs and genuinly wanted us to enjoy our stay -we’d see staff in the halls and they would say hi and ask how our room was and if we had any needs. Breakfast had pastries, bagels, fruit, yogurt, sausage patties, omeletes with cheese inside, cereal, and a waffle making station. Good coffee too!

Quality gone away _ Have stayed at this property three times in the last year, and unfortunately will never return. Under General Manager Sam Patel, maintenance is kept to a minimum. Attached pictures will show a layer of yellow slime on both the pool & spa steps/floor. The employee on desk duty tried to pass this off as “chemical residue”………..right. I observed NO ONE using the pools during my Saturday thru Monday visit. I also asked the day clerk on Monday 8/14/23 why we didn’t have any housekeeping service during our stay, & he said that he would check into it. I asked same employee if there had been a management change recently, & he replied that it was the same for the past 9 years. I said Sam Patel, & he responded YES. I then asked to talk with Mr. Patel, and clerk said that he would call him & get back with us about a rate adjustment. It has been seven days and I am still waiting on his call. Very disappointing experience for such a fine brand

One night stay We were very angry with our stay we were in an amazing room with a two person Jacuzzi tub and ended up having to move rooms because our Jacuzzi tub didn’t work and not downgraded to a single person Jacuzzi tub and half the room size Pictures below our original room but was too angry to take pictures of the tub that was half size And in the movie room only half the Jets worked in the tub they really need to do a lot of maintenance in their rooms

Bait and switch for a dump I was given a written quote of $99 per night months before the stay but then they ended up charging me "only" $200 per night. They actually tried to charge me $270 per night but gave me a "'special rate" of $200 because they had "mistakenly " given me a quote of $99 per night months before. They said that they didn't know it was the big Oshkosh airshow week-end when they gave me the $99/night quote. But of course it's not my fault that they didn't know what week-end it is. It is a classic bait-and-switch. Also they are not maintaining the place at all and it is turning in to a dump. Exterior is a mess with unmown grass, old left over construction materials lying around, filthy windows, broken locks, etc., etc. Why doesn't Quality Inn -&-Suites pull their franchise? Or, is Quality Inn-&-Suites themselves turning in to a chain of dumps? I certainly won't be staying in any more of them after this experience.
