Lotus of Lompoc - A Great Hospitality Inn

A Disappointment I really thought this hotel would be zen-like as the word "Lotus" is used. It was the opposite. The time we arrived in the room there were questionable people standing outside, watching my mom and I every move. It was really quite scary actually. Upon entering we immediately smelled sewer. We thought it was just a temporary smell but it lingered. I pinpointed where it was coming from, and it was in the pipes connecting the toilet bowl. It was really horrid. I had to use my mom's perfume to hide the smell, but it did not really help. Had to close the door to the bathroom to breathe adequately. Anyway, surprised I was able to sleep. Stayed there for a night, thank goodness, as I don't think I can stay a second night. It was just seedy and felt as though I was living in the ghetto. Oh, and the ironing board and bed spread had stains. Not sure what it was, but it was crusty. Unfortunately, this was the only available hotel that weekend as the rest were booked. Next time I should plan earlier. Nothing lotus about this place.

Great hospitality We spent two nights here. Every thing was excellent. I had a great experience with the staff was very helpful specialy Mr. Joydeep Das house keeing department . He provides great hospitality. I realy like this hotel.

Worst Motel Experience of our entire trip The designations King, Queen and Double are not indications of mattress size. Be sure what you are paying for. Our Bathroom Fan screen was off and the room smelled like smoke of various types from another room getting stuck in there. Had to leave the fan on the entire time. The shudders did not want to stay closed. There is no Ice Machine on the property. They no longer include any form of breakfast or snack. The A/C wall unit barely worked and was on the entire time to maintain some level of cooling. Worst of all the thin walls kept us up at night with noisy neighbors and noisy wall banging sex on two sides. Not recommended for families. Kleenex wall holder was empty and the floors were dirty on bare feet.

Great value Good location if you're just passing through and doing an overnight. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our first room smelled like tobacco smoke so we got another room, spotlessly clean and no smoke odors. No place is going to be perfect at this price point but this place is better than most for sure.

Thankful ! I am giving this motel 5 stars because of the service. I inadvertently left my iPad on the bed when we checked out and the staff there was so helpful in getting a FedEx pick-up to return it to me. The rate was very reasonable and included a basic breakfast w waffles, all that was needed to get started for the day. An ice machine would’ve been nice and the room was very small but the rate was great and we slept very well and had no complaints. Thank you, Lompoc, for all your help with my left behind iPad!
