Great stay What a great environment. When I checked in, the desk manager on the afternoon of 10/28 was outstanding. Friendly, engaged are the words that would describe her. I have had many meetings there over the years but that was a great 1st start to this visit. The room was great, the facility was clean. The lady at the front desk, when not busy, was out cleaning the lobby area. You don’t see that often. However, the highlight was the individual that ran the bar on that Saturday night. Her name was Deanna (Dee). Friendly and a very hard worker. She was very engaging and we really enjoyed her personality. The number of people grew as the fans trickled in after the game. Even though, she was supposed to be done by midnight…she stayed because she is a great employee. How many people want to stay that extra hour on a Saturday night. I don’t know of many but I know of one, that was Dee. Never complained just kept everything flowing. The only complaint that I could find is that she was even nice to the Ohio State fans. Our group was split between the Cambria and the Holiday Inn. We originally were going to go to the Cambria after the game. They were shutting down and it was a much different environment. Not blaming anyone here since If I was planning on being off at 930, I would probably want to leave too. The bricks and overall structure of the buildings are similar. The advantage of the Holiday Inn was there appears to be a great environment where everyone is working together. To be fair, I spent one minute in the Cambria so I may have caught a bad minute. I can tell you that my time at the Holiday Inn was excellent.

Average hotel This hotel was very very mid. It has ok breakfast. The pool was fun but the hot tub didn’t do so well. The workers weren’t nice. There were rude customers trying to ruin our fun by complaining. I like crayons but only the blue and ones. The guests were acting like yellow crayons(one of my least fav).

Baseball It had a tiny lobby and bad breakfast. Also had mean guests that hate kids. However, staff was very friendly and kind to everyone. The pool was nice but the hot tub was out of service. My baseball team had a fun time playing tag but the mean guests tried to ruin our fun.

Overall Ok Stay Nothing much to say about our stay here. Just an average hotel. Nothing great about this place and nothing to really complain about either. Not sure we would book here again next time through the area. $190 a night for standard hotel room a bit much

Gross Hotel rooms are disgusting, outdated, and have a lack of attention to detail. Hotel lobby fish tank tells it all. Hotel staff were extremely rude and talking about our group while we were in the lobby. Our group was always respectful of other guests. 10 out of 10 would not recommend.
