For decades, JCPenney Portraits has welcomed families into its friendly studios, where professional photographers expertly photograph subjects of any age. Digital cameras, professional lighting, and a wide selection of backgrounds all work together to ensure a professional, personalized look for all family photos, religious celebrations, business headshots, or birth announcements. To customize the shoot even more, the staff also encourages guests to incorporate items with special meaning such as a baby blanket or a family heirloom. From a first baby photo to senior pictures and engagement photos, JCPenney Portraits helps to preserve special family memories to come.
After the final flash, clients and a team member head to the viewing kiosk, where they can select their photos and customize them. Clients can choose to receive the photo shoot via digital delivery or preserve these memories on traditional printed sheets, canvas prints, or wall art. Clients can also save the photo shoot on a high-resolution CD.
Mia Canada has an eye for style that goes way beyond tying the perfect bow. Once upon a time, Mia coordinated events and designed her own stationary. Eventually, her passion for fashion and interior design inspired her to channel her talents into an avenue for stylistic flair that had been overlooked: gift design.
As head gift wrapper at That’s a Wrap!, Mia makes sure each box’s exterior mirrors the care that went into selecting its contents. She travels to homes or workplaces, and customers trek to pop-up locations in Atlanta malls where she and her staff work their magic. From the Premier Collection’s preconceived designs with classic papers and satin ribbons to the Mia Line’s completely personalized looks—created from unique paper, velvet, organza, or even leather—each of their masterpieces tells a story.

A camera has always been a part of Courtney's life. That’s due in part because she comes from a family of photographers, of which she’s the third generation to practice the art. She started Ethereal Birth Photography
to transform what had long been her photographic hobby and passion into a career. Armed with the knowledge of her forebears and her own studies, she went ahead with her dream and in the process discovered her talent for shooting nature and newborns.
Throughout her photographic repertoire, Courtney is known for exploring many styles and producing unique shots. Clients may see her employing traditional portraiture techniques for work with babies, a photojournalistic bent with families or weddings, and a generally fun and funky style with anything from nature to boudoir shoots.
Photographer David Firestine never runs out of places to snap his shots. Leafing through his portfolio, one finds David’s subjects standing in dumpsters, lying in the street, or simply posing pensively before some textured, abstract background. His lens demonstrates a flair for focus, blurring passing trains and approaching Cthulus in the background while the subjects in the forefront virtually leap out of the shot with startling crispness. David’s naturally creative energy motivates outside-the-box shots while his artistic eye assesses design, form, color, and tone. Mostly, he wants his clients to have fun, and he is willing to match them stride-for-stride in terms of nonconventionality, or rein in his flair and adjust his shots to match his client’s tastes and desires.
