I'm down 37 pounds in 6 months. I did not lose very much weight the first month. This is normal. Do not get discouraged if this is you. The higher doses allow you to lose the weight. Your first month you do not want to have bad side effects so you start on a low dose to get used to the medication. Your goal should not be to lose a lot of weight your first month or so. Be patient and stick with it. It's healthy to lose 1-2 pounds per week. The provider was helpful in coaching me along the way. The goal is not only to lose weight but to reverse insulin resistance. And this takes time. This is why BloomMD coaches you to taper of the medication (for me it was 3 months of tapering after I got to my goal weight). This medication not only helped me get to my target weight but helped me develop good eating habits. It not only reduced my appetite but curbed my sugar cravings. I am now transitioning off the medication (It took me 9 months with tapering - it may take longer or not as long for others). I feel better than I have in years and I feel confident wearing new outfits and going out. The first few months can be difficult because you may hit a plateau or get discouraged. BloomMD is there to help every step of the way. Hang in there. It is worth it on the other side. There is no better investment than your health. BloomMD is super easy to text or call when you have questions and their pricing is very reasonable for the quality and support you get! Good Luck!
