Der Hinterhof

At Der Hinterhof, one can find many of the trappings of a typical German beer garden. Patrons toast their heavy steins over long wooden tables, with cheers of "prost" ruffling the flags. But there's also some contemporary party touches, from a ping pong table to snowboards mounted on the walls like crossbones. This is also reflected in the weekend's live music, shifting from acoustic plucking in the daytime to danceable rock, pop, and oldies in the evening, played on a corner stage on the outdoor patio.

Activities abound both indoors and out, including competing on beer pong tables, passing the dice over beloved board games, and dancing to the live music. Outside, revelers can crowd around blazing fire pits as they sip on pints of four varieties of draft beers under the glow of twinkling colored lights.
