More people than ever are living a sedentary lifestyle: waking up in their racecar beds, driving to work in their racecars, sitting for eight hours in the passenger seats of experimental racecars as men in lab coats slam them into concrete walls, and then driving home again. Race to fitness with this Groupon.

Choose from Three Options

  • $29 for 5 fat-burning classes (a $75 value)
  • $49 for 10 fat-burning classes (a $150 value)
  • $99 for 4 semiprivate youth sports-training sessions (a $250 value)

Small-group classes meet three days a week for a 45-minute total-body workout. Routines use plyometrics, free weights, core training, weight sleds, suspension bands, and heavy ropes to build lean muscle, singe away body fat, and get hearts pumping. During youth sports-training sessions, 10-year-old to college-aged participants stretch and warm up for 15 minutes before undergoing an hour of intensive athletic training.

Barbara Brenseke—a licensed fitness instructor for more than 20 years and a certified Olympic weightlifting sports-performance coach—puts her experience as a competitor in Olympic distance triathlons, marathons, and USTA tennis leagues to use by showing others how to prevent injuries and achieve the sharpest competitive edge possible. Her semiprivate training center constantly maintains a 3:1 client-to-coach ratio, allowing her and her team of impassioned instructors to show clients personalized attention as they prepare them for athletic competitions or guide them toward a lifestyle of health and wellness.

Staffers teach students how to perform optimally, using strength and power in athletic disciplines that range from lacrosse to baseball. They can also help clients sculpt their bodies for non-sports-related hobbies, such as golfing, biking, or building life-size model-train sets. Additionally, they can show students how to chisel away excess poundage with individualized weight, cardio, and nutritional programs.

The Groupon Guide to: Popular Pet Names

Though pets, like regular animals, don't actually require names, many names are wasted on pets regardless. For this reason, pet monikers are often ones that were rejected by humans because they lacked dignity or were too offensive to call a baby. What are the hottest new pet names coming out next year?

Dogs:
• Chubbs
• Bunker
• Star War
• Porch
• Thresher

Cats:
• Bagel
• Truncate
• Thresher
• Sassapants
• Professor Doctor

Birds, Reptiles and Other:
• Thresher
• Bic
• That Thing Your Father Brought Home
• BANANAS
• [Your name here] Junior

Is it normal to name your pets?
