Over the years, I like many others have had to get several smog checks with a mixed bag of experiences and for this reason it's not something I've ever looked forward to. This time, I decided to purchase a Groupon for a smog check at a local shop and setup my appointment online for the next day and paid via the app. I showed up a few minutes early and there were several vehicles and customers already onsite. I was warmly greeted by the single staff member and then right at my appointment time he called my name and started working on my vehicle.
