They say all you can do in NYC is drink and eat. To that I say, bullshit: you can sew and drink too. Specifically, sip n' sew at New York Sewing Center. I was looking for sewing 101 classes since I wanted to to start altering my clothes again. Thank god I found this class. I went with my best friend and we had Julian as our instructor and oh my god did we have the best Friday ever. I felt so much more comfortable working with a sewing machine, Julian was so fun and helpful, and and I'm excited to go back for "open studio" sessions!

So far so good. Just need to follow step by step. I’m not tech savy but still get it. Just need to read and follow.

Great class, very relaxing and fun. Serita was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Had an awesome time! Would Definitely recommend.
