Choose Between Two Options

  • $39 for a three-hour photo-taking tour of Manhattan (a $90 value)
  • $50 for a two-hour Photography on the Lawn photo discussion session (a $100 value)

The photo-taking tour option is valid for the Walk Manhattan 1, Walk Manhattan 2, Walk Manhattan 3, or Walk Manhattan 4 tours. Walk Manhattan 1 explores Lower Manhattan, Chinatown, and the Lower East Side; Walk Manhattan 2 covers Washington Heights' street life, Hudson River views, and Fort Tryon Park; Walk Manhattan 3 includes Central Park’s familiar and lesser-known features; and Walk Manhattan 4 traverses Washington Square Park, Broadway, and Madison Square Park. Customers also may choose Photographing the High Line, a photo walk along New York's elevated park; a tour of Long Island City's waterfront Gantry Plaza State Park; or Graffiti Street, where photographers can document the colorful street art. The tours and classes are geared to provide instruction and mini assignments to photographers of all experience levels.

Alternatively, those who already have samples of their own work can bring two 11"x14" prints to Central Park for a Photography on the Lawn session. Participants critique and discuss each other's work during the two-hour program, and also will have the opportunity to buy or trade prints at the end. Each tour or discussion is led by accomplished photojournalist and fine-art photographer Judah S. Harris.
