Midwinter Gaming Convention
The Midwinter Gaming Convention began with a group of friends getting together in Milwaukee to play their favorite World of Darkness role-playing game and defeat their true nemesis: the midwinter doldrums. The event kept getting bigger each year, and the organizers' ambitions were stirred: why not expand the focus to all manner of in-person gaming? Today you'll find everything from live action role-playing to competitive card games and a board game room with over 1,400 titles. In the exhibition hall, vendors sell new original games, while game designers and players talk strategy in presentations.
