Programs range in focus from roller derby to Pilates, and take place throughout the week, catering to busy schedules and kids who own a pair of shoes for every sport. Adult athletes can also get fit during one-on-one workout sessions or group fitness classes.
Since its 1965 founding in Venice Beach, California, Gold's Gym has dotted the globe with more than 600 locations where professional athletes and exercise newbies gather under the umbrella of personal strength. Nearly 3.5 million Gold's members chart and aim for their fitness peaks, perspiring beneath the gaze of certified personal trainers or pedaling beside peers at cycling sessions. No one walks through the doors of CrossFit Longmont and begins a solo workout on a treadmill or elliptical machine. Instead, coaches
lead small-group workouts that incorporate Olympic weightlifting equipment, wooden plyometric boxes, and rows of kettlebells. The coaches guide classes through each CrossFit exercise designed to mimic functional movements in daily life, from lifting heavy objects to jumping onto the kitchen table to eat meals. Workouts can be tailored to ensure participants of all abilities are challenged during adult- and kid-focused CrossFit classes. And during warmer months, classes spill outside and members flip oversized tires and run laps.

We make this experience about more than just fitness. This is a lifestyle change and a way to grow as a person. We offer many different styles of yoga, and our instructors are here to challenge you in a safe manner.
What is the biggest mistake you see people make when trying to get fit on their own?
They lose momentum and they end up with injuries due to poor alignment.
What is a typical session of your program or class like for a student?
Our 60–75 minute classes feature different styles of yoga, such as vinyasa, ashtanga, restorative, kundalini, and Forrest.
Inside Black Line Athletic Club's main training room, CrossFitters utilize the minimalist space by dragging sleds or sprinting across AstroTurf along personal training clients lifting HammerStrength weights. The facility hosts classes such as Blac Core, an intense conditioning class, and Performance, a dynamic-resistance-cord class used nationwide by professional athletes and champion chess players who need to be in peak physical shape. The training center also has facilities designed for a variety of workouts, including calorie-torching spin classes, muscle-sculpting ballet barre classes, flexibility-boosting yoga classes, and heart-pumping cardio dance classes.
