Clients should be motivated to get to the fitness level they want. Here at CrossFit SoHo, we are the catalyst that helps assist that reaction. Progressions are huge in CrossFit and our clients are constantly being pushed to that next horizon so they are never hitting a plateau. What is the biggest mistake you see people make when trying to get fit on their own? Motivation. Exercising is not a problem alone if you have the drive and motiviation. But it is really easy to take the day off if you aren't feeling it or to "go through the motions" of a workout if you aren't present. In a CrossFit workout you have 10 other people pushing you to perform at your peak and if you don't you will definetley hear it from someone. Sweating to the oldies is acceptable, but sweating to the blues less so. Do you find that certain styles and genres of music generate more intense workouts? We like to use more uptempo music to listen to during workouts. But you'll hear a range of music in the gym.
