What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Essential oils are massaged into your abdomen, then wrapped in mineral, clay and extract soaked cloth bandages. (Optional abdominal massage.) You then lay in an Infrared Blanket that burns up to 1200 calories an hour. We keep you comfortable with a Cold Stone foot, neck, shoulder and face massage.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We want to bring Healthy Detox Body Wraps to the Frisco and Mckinney community. We believe in the health benefits of the detox wrap and Infrared heat, not just the quick fix of inch loss fad wraps. Our products are pure, all natural and will help clean your system.
What do you love most about your job?
We love to share health and wellness with my community. Feeling great and looking great are important to living a happy life. We enjoy helping our clients meet their goals.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
We love to hear how happy our clients are. They often say, "I will recommend you to all of my friends." This makes our hearts happy!
After 13 years of working in the health-care industry, licensed massage therapist Jean E. Besse realized that although she had a successful career, she had very little time to care for herself. Over the years, she had put on more than 30 pounds of excess weight thanks to a steady diet of fast food and soda. Then a fellow massage therapist pointed her to AdvoCare's line of energy drinks and bars. Besse lost 40 pounds.
She now shares her favorite products with others and drop-kicks every can of soda she sees. In addition to helping people lose weight, she helps ease their aches and pains through massage therapy at Relax Your Body -Shop.
Don't let Glambo Lily Day Spa's newcomer status fool you. The newly inaugurated luxury day spa boasts a staff of experienced massage therapists and aestheticians who hold 40 years of combined experience
Because of this, they're experts at all types of services from facials that employ cutting edge technology such as collagen induction therapy, to body wraps that help clients detoxify and lose inches from around their waists and legs.
Massages, meanwhile, aim to baby tense muscles and stressed minds, and therapists often incorporate soothing extras such as aromatherapy and hot stones. Some massages even aim to deliver specific lifestyle benefits, such as the More Z's massage, which uses scents of valerian and lavender to promote better sleep, or the Sore No More massage, which can be particularly beneficial for those who sit at a desk all day and carry it home on their shoulders each night.
Shiatsu Renu's marquee treatment dates back to 1000 AD. But in the 1940s, shiatsu was combined with knowledge of Western anatomy. Today, the treatment—a therapeutic marriage of Eastern and Western techniques—is a popular way to boost energy and promote balance and wellness. Shiatus Renu's massage therapists are well versed in the Japanese treatment, as well as Swedish and deep-tissue massages, which each relax the mind and remove tension and pain from the body. The staff members also offer heated Thai herbal massages. These are administered with the help of steamed bundles of herbs, which open up pores, infuse bodies with medicinal oils, and help relax muscles tense from flexing for traffic-camera photos.
Like many massage studios, Mokara Healing Arts offers many different massage modalities, ranging from the long, flowing strokes of Swedish massage to trigger-point therapy, designed to address and eliminate musculoskeletal pains. Unlike most studios, however, they've also combined most of what they offer into one extravagantly rejuvenating signature treatment. The Mokara Healing Specialty massage treatment involves more than half a dozen different bodywork styles, including Thai stretching, foot massage, and Reiki energy healing.
