Fixed-Wing Flying Lessons with 30-Minute Flight and Ground School
To be honest, I'm not new to WIFA, did my pilot's license with them (back then they were still WFC), but hasn't been flying for many, many years. So for me it was more like re-discovery, rather than discovery flight, and my experience may have been unusual.
With that in mind, the ground instruction was very short, almost entirely around the plane, and the flying itself was at least 40 minutes (including taxiing to and from the runway). The instructor was great, nice, very experienced and accommodating, took pictures and videos with my phone during and after the flight, and let me steer on the ground and in the air. It was a bit windy and chilly, but overall the weather was good for flying. Still, I recommend going for it on a very empty stomach.
It should be pointed out that originally I scheduled the flight for Saturday, and had to reschedule to Wednesday because of bad weather, so this does happen a lot and you should account for such delays.
In any case, I highly recommend this activity, it was a lot of fun.

30-Minute Introductory Flight Lesson with 30-Minute Ground Training for One
I purchased this as a gift for an aviation enthusiast and he absolutely loved it! Scheduling the flight was a breeze and our instructor John was fantastic. The ground lesson was essentially going through the preflight checklist, and going through the safety reasons for each element was very informative. Once in the plane, my friend got to taxi the plane, take off with assistance, fly the majority of the flight, and take some excellent pictures. When they were in the air John gave lots of cool information, tips, and fun facts. The flight overall was for the full 30 minutes including taxiing. I would absolutely recommend this as a gift!
