Sunset Hills’ 18-hole golf course, revamped after a change in management and ownership, unfurls across 6,452 yards of rolling Missouri countryside for a player-friendly, par 72 layout. The course’s moderate length will tempt players to unsheathe their drivers or golf-ball bazookas and take an aggressive line, but multiple fairway-side ponds offer incentive for more conservative play. To prepare golfers for their pin-hunting odyssey, the course maintains a multifaceted Golf Learning Center, which includes a putting green, a chipping area, and a driving range with grass hitting areas, shaded hitting mats, and floodlights for after-hours practice sessions. A stately banquet hall, The Sunset Room, overlooks the course and hosts weddings, business meetings, and 9-iron birthday parties with seating for up to 300 guests.
