- $19 for five weeks of 60-minute Buggin’ Babies classes (a $60 value)
- $59 for four 45-minute pre- or postnatal personal-training sessions (a $240 value)
- $49 for one 45-minute pre- or postnatal personal-training session (a $200 value)
Moms push their little ones in strollers during Buggin’ Babies classes for extra resistance; they also rely on light weights and Dyna-Bands to tone muscles. Classes meet on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. for five weeks. In personal-training sessions, moms-to-be work to maintain their fitness during pregnancy; postnatal sessions can be conducted with or without babies in tow. Most moves focus on reshaping the core with stability balls, bands, and hand weights.
Get Movin’ Momma
After the birth of her twin boys, personal trainer Amy L. George needed a way to combine her passion for her kids and for fitness. Soon, Get Movin’ Momma was born, too. She helps moms-to-be stay fit throughout their pregnancies and guides new moms through routines that help them get back in shape with or without their little ones in tow for workouts. Amy also has classes for moms and their preschoolers that are more effective than simply chasing a preschooler or chasing a preschooler who’s running on a treadmill. Moms also turn to her for me time with personal-training sessions and boot camps.
