Trainers introduce students to the technique and mechanics of CrossFit in fundamentals programs, ensuring that their charges learn proper movements to avoid future injury. Clients who have never attended a CrossFit class before are advised to start with the fundamentals program. Once attendees master the basics, the trainers begin to introduce increasing elements of intensity, instilling students with the motivation to push themselves.

North Frisco CrossFit

When fighting fires, it's important to stay in combat-ready shape. Thirteen-year veteran fireman Ryan Adam picked up CrossFit as a means to stay ready for the the next four-alarm fire. He studied the methodology at numerous gyms, and even began teaching it to his coworkers. Eventually, he decided it was time to start his own enterprise. Upon earning himself a CrossFit Level 1 certification, Ryan founded North Frisco CrossFit. He focuses on the classic tenets of the training methodology, varying workouts every day to stave off boredom and prevent muscles from adapting to a specific regimen. Ryan designs every exercise he throws at students to strengthen their bodies in the various domains of functional fitness, such as strength, agility, and flexibility.
