Steve Kalamaras, founder of Spartan Elite Training, wants his students to know they're in experienced hands. And Steve's hands are about as experienced as they come. Steve began his training in Judo at the young age of eight, and eight years later, Steve was a champion. His accolades included National, International, and Jr. Olympic championships—the latter of which he holds three.
Now—after more years of training, receiving additional accolades and certifications, and serving in the U.S. Navy Seabees—Steve distills all of his experience into training sessions at Spartan Elite. Named for the bravery and skill of the legendary Spartan warriors, Steve attempts to preserve the philosophy and traditions of those very warriors in classes that emphasize a healthy lifestyle and rigorous practice to develop strength, speed, and flexibility.
