During boot-camp classes, an instructor leads students through comprehensive exercise circuits that include strength training, agility drills, core conditioning, and flexibility work. The classes also cover nutrition advice and motivational fitness quotes. Classes meet for one hour beginning at 8 a.m. on Sunday and 8:15 p.m. on Monday.
Certified fitness trainer Yolanda Greene derives much of her expertise from a reliable mentor: former Mr. Universe Yohnnie Shambourger. Having learned his tips of the trade, she now runs YoFitness in a private workout studio, guiding clients through a carefully developed mix of cardio and strength routines. Her boot-camp circuits aim to condition the entire physique with a variety of movements and equipment, including jump ropes and resistance bands, whereas personal-training sessions focus on each client's individual goals.
