And Captain Brendan Lorino has the benefit of more than 15 years of it, steering boats and reeling in catches off the Long Island Sound and throughout the Atlantic. Aboard his craft, the 32-foot, custom-designed Sound Bound, groups of up to six can join him on fishing charters that head toward spots where they cast lines for striped bass, flounder, fluke, porgies, bluefish and the elusive Old Brown Boot. Full-day and night trips are also available, and all trips include bait, tackle, rods, and reels, as well as fish cleaning, ice, and packing.
