San Francisco Japanese Restaurants

In San Francisco, Japanese restaurants have everything they need. The ocean is just a stone’s throw away, so fresh fish for sushi abounds. What’s more, denizens have the adventurous palates to appreciate not only california rolls, but hand-made mochi, barbecued eel, and the Japanese-Mexican fusion cuisine at Mas Sake. Here, Japanese food is everywhere, so tired tourists won't have to venture far as many San Francisco hotels serve the cuisine. In this fertile milieu, it’s no wonder the city’s best Japanese spots are among the best restaurants in San Francisco.

$30 Towards Sushi and Hibachi for 2 or More People
The lunch special is great: a big roll, a handroll, and choice of soup or soda. The unagi handroll is full of eel and very tasty. Big Sapporo beer at $7.50 makes the meal even better. Usually very good service though lunch times can be either be very quiet or very busy. Always happy with my meal here. All good.
