Q&A with Matthew Taub, Owner
Exercise is challenging, and people frequently give up on their fitness routines. How do you keep clients motivated?
Exercise is always harder to start and easy to give up on. It takes a commitment. As fitness educators, presenters and trainers we know what it takes to make a difference in someones life. We have carefully chosen classes that are results oriented. We follow up with our clients to insure they are staying on track and keeping them accountable to what they chose as their goals. But its also the relationship we have with our clients. We know what its like to have to start on a fitness journey and what it takes to keep on it.
What is the most radical physical transformation you've seen a client make?
We don’t believe in radical physical transformations. Those kinds of transformations are extreme and in a lot of situations, don’t last. Strong and steady. Those are the transformations we work with and for. That can be a 15 pound transformation or a 150 pound transformation. It all comes down to needs, goals and a realistic timeframe.
Besides working out, what else can clients do to spend time at your facility?
We believe in total fitness. We offer real fitness for real results. Our facility offers group fitness classes and personal training. We do provide in home dvd workouts and nutritional supplements from our online store.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?

Sustainable lifestyle choices, environmental consciousness, and building a sense of community: these are a few of the pillars upon which Moksha Yoga is built. The architect is Ted Grand, who drew from 12 years of training under yoga masters including Bikram Choudhury and Acharya Yoganand to develop his own special technique. Moksha's focus on clearing the mind of distractions, detoxifying the body through sweat, and building powerful core musculature can help practitioners overcome everyday obstacles from managing arthritis or stress to sliding out of tight crawlspaces.
Moksha Yoga’s 75 studios operate under the caring supervision of a professional teaching staff. Their diverse backgrounds not only include years of yoga study, but also apprenticeships under Nobel Peace Prize winners and careers with Amnesty International. Both instructors and students are encouraged to share their positive philosophy off the mat as well: the company supports several charitable endeavours, and its studios are powered by renewable energy sources.
