For the CrossFit class options, customers may be required to take up to six introductory On-Ramp classes, depending on their ability.
The three-month strength and conditioning program goes beyond aesthetic fitness goals to develop the strength and performance of both current and former athletes. Students will focus on a range of fitness realms, including cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, agility, speed, coordination, and flexibility. Classes take place at 3–4 p.m. every Monday and Wednesday or every Tuesday and Thursday, beginning on May 5 for Monday/Wednesday students and May 6 for Tuesday/Thursday students.
The client-focused coaches at CrossFit Queens schedule more than 60 classes each week. Programs are targeted to any number of tastes, including getting in shape, improving overall fitness, or competing in sports. New visitors to CrossFit Queens are greeted by two CrossFit 101 classes, which include an orientation to the barbell lifts and gymnastics skills, before moving on to classes such as Mixed Level WOD. Up to three coaches - including a dedicated beginner's coach - roam the floors helping guests move fast and efficiently and teaching proper techniques.
